Make things easier on your catcher’s knees with these pads from Schutt. Available in both adult and youth sizes. Now that I’ve begun catching for my daughter on a regular basis - I understand why catchers love these things. Every catcher I’ve talked to said these types of pads make their job easier. Plus this set isn’t all that costly, priced at just $18.95. Click on the image for more information.

Here is the popular Rawlings Silverback Softball Glove. I can’t say I’ve used it myself, but I have been told on more than one occassion that it’s a great glove. It’s the favorite of players I know, so I figured I’d share it with you.

Gameface Mask for Softball

Game Face Safety Mask - $ 27.99

Retail Price: 34.99
You Save: $7.00

Again, not something I’ve personally used myself, but something I’ve seen some coaches and parents highly recommend. With the high performance bats available today, some parents won’t let their pitchers or 3rd baseman on the field without this Gameface Mask.

Easton Cyclone Fastpitch Bat

July 12, 2006 on 8:03 pm | In Bats, Easton, Easton | No Comments

Here is the bat I bought for my daughter (9 years old). I chose it on the recommendation on a few others and due to the fact that my daughter is not so tall. It enabled us to get a bat with some weight to it, but one that wasn’t too long for her. The -10 bats are just too long for the weight she can swing. With the -9, we get the weight at a length that works better for her. At $39.99 it doesn’t break your pocketbook too much either which is a consideration for parents of younger players. Plus it’s pretty cool looking. ;)
