College Coach Answers Questions

As you know, I did a Live “Hot Seat” Call last night with Coach Bill Vasko (DII Softball Coach). In case you didn’t get to join us, we were on the call for just about an hour and got the scoop on:

    * What Coach Vasko looks for in potential recruits
    * What Coach Vasko looks for in potential recruits
    * How to avoid common mistake players make when contacting college coaches
    * How Coach Vasko coaches his hitters
    * Coach Vasko’s take on sports specialization
    * Practice organization
    * How to incorporate the mental game into practice
    * How the DII recruiting timeline is different from the DI timeline and why
    * Which skill Coach Vasko spends more time on (defense vs hitting)
    * What Coach Vasko’s “top priority” is for each recruiting class he brings in
    * …and more

Good stuff right?

So, if you want to hear it again, or if you missed it the first time, you can check it out right now at Fastpitch Talk Radio.  It’s up and ready for you to listen to online or download and save to your computer or mp3 player.

Enjoy!
